About

Hi my name is Lorraine. I’ve been creating things all my life, and have recently stumbled across my new favourite way of doing so. Stuffed animals and dolls have always been special to me.  Last Christmas I was given a book on knitting amigurumi and I’ve been hooked ever since.

A few years ago I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, a central nervous system disorder characterized by chronic fatigue, pain, brain fog and a host of other symptoms. I was forced to stop working and spend a lot of quiet hours at home sitting or laying down. Crocheting has become a lifesaver because I can do it sitting in my comfortable chair and it doesn’t require tons of energy.

I’ll be sharing about my experiences with Fibro, showing pictures of things I make, and creating some new patterns. Who knows what I will come up.

Cheers,

Lorraine
